The NIPKOW PROGRAMM Approach

Since its inception in 1992, the NIPKOW PROGRAMM has been making significant contributions to the film and media landscape in Europe. Not only has it established an extensive and flourishing network of film and media professionals in Western and Eastern Europe over the years, but it has also brought countless European co-productions to the screen and forged the way for many future European co-productions and partnerships.

The NIPKOW PROGRAMM has been involved in the realisation of numerous feature films, documentary films, shorts and animation or digital productions. Many have been international award-winners.

The key to the NIPKOW PROGRAMM's success lies in its unique made-to-order approach in meeting the individual needs of each of its participants and in linking them up with the appropriate partners.

The NIPKOW PROGRAMM Network

The NIPKOW PROGRAMM has, over the years, not only acquired a vast stockpile of professional contacts in the film and media world in Berlin and beyond, but its scores of former and current fellowship-holders have shared and continue to share their own set of local, national and international contacts and connections with the NIPKOW PROGRAMM and their fellowship colleagues. This has contributed to the development of an interactive pan-European network of production and industry professionals in both technical and creative spheres, as well as in the areas of financing, co-production, marketing, and distribution.
