ADMISSION CRITERIA & PROCEDURE
Participants are selected on the basis of the quality of their work, professional recommendations and the potential of their project with which they have applied.
The selection of participants is made by an international jury twice a year, in Spring and Autumn.

Fellowships

The fellowship grant amounts to 1,500 Euros per month and is designed to allow the grant recipient to concentrate on his work exclusively. It is also possible to receive additional financial support to cover material costs such as film stock, hire of technical equipment for use of technical facilities, other material, screenings, publications, translations, etc.

All grant recipients are obliged to write a final report.

Accommodation for the duration of the grant recipient's stay in Berlin is not provided by NIPKOW. Nor are travel expenses covered by NIPKOW.
JURY SESSIONSAn international jury selects grant recipients twice a year. The criteria for selection are as follows:

the feasability of the project taking into account the existing film academies, production companies, studios, post-production companies, media technology companies, film societies, film archives, distribution companies, broadcasters, etc.
